 What will be included in the session?

This class will be a discussion on the theory and practice of what makes a truthful acting performance. There may be some acting exercises to try at home where appropriate. John will draw from years of professional experience in acting and tutoring, answering any questions you may have on how to give an engaging performance. The session will also centre around self-tapes. Self-tapes are common in the acting industry when auditioning for casting directors, these are usually acted from home, recorded on a mobile phone. It is not compulsory to record a self-tape before the session, but we would recommend sending one into us before the session if you want any feedback on your performance. This can be sent by WeTransfer, or by email. Please note that we cannot guarantee that every self-tape will be seen during the session. We will respond with further details in response to your application. We look forward to seeing you with us!
